Hello all! I like to describe myself as recent MBA graduate that loves to do anything that allows me to express my creativity and give back to youth in my area. I have had the opportunity to work for the Paul and Lulu Art Museum, Ruby Slipper, CA Souls, and so on learning various aspects of marketing.In 2020, in which many of us had time to think, I began Malka Creates. Malika Creates is a part-time, multifaceted business that is focused on capturing the essence of small businesses through digital and print mediums. My goal is to assist small business owners revamp their marketing strategies using the power of analytics. My most recent project has been assisting the Clayton Law Firm, located in Slidell, LA, modernize their 10+ year old website and devise a plan to increase their digital footprint in 2023. Along with marketing, I have always had a heart for giving back to the youth in my area. I was a Project Advisor for Upward Bound for 3 years. I was able to help low-income, first-generation youth achieve their goals of starting their post secondary studies. I have also had the opportunity to coach AAU, high school, and middle school volleyball. I have also coached track and field. This past summer I had the opportunity to serve as the Camp Director for the NORD Cut-off location. I was able to create a fun summer by coordinating weekly activities for 86 youth ranging from ages 5-12. I hope to combine my love of marketing and creativity to teach the next generation of young professionals.
