In recognition of his design and STEM mentoring in underserved communities, Mali and his BklynCombine team were recently celebrated with an honorary “Combine Day” on the Black Lives Matter street mural in Brooklyn, NY. Mali is a founding member of the BklynCombine community organization, Board Member of Beam Center NYC, and Director of Design at The Council on Foreign Relations. His work and leadership are driven by a passion for social progress, communication, design, and technology.He has served as a creative lead for general market brands: Walmart, Coca-Cola, Adidas, HBO, McDonald's, Ford, Lincoln, and Toyota. Mali has provided design direction and development for technology brands including Teradata, Adobe, and Intel. As well as designed and developed co-branded programs with financial institutions including Nationwide, JPMorgan Chase, American Express, Wells Fargo, and US Bank.As a creative lead, his vision integrates thoughtful strategy, a sophisticated aesthetic, and deep technical knowledge. His understanding of product design, interactive development, and brand management is grounded in over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience.Mali has developed online communities with millions of members, designed innovative digital products, and built production teams from the ground up. As an agency lead, he's played integral roles in securing new and legacy business with a collective revenue of over $15 Million for blue-chip advertisers and provided creative leadership for teams, products, campaigns, and brands in the US, Canada, UK, Northern Ireland, Germany, as well as Kenya.
