Soundtrap is an official Google for Education Partner and is one of three companies selected for Google’s “Creative Apps for Chromebook” bundle, a program launched by Google in June 2016. In addition, the company recently entered a North American distribution agreement with SYNNEX Corporation, a leading technology solutions distributor and a Fortune 500 company, becoming the first and only music education solution within SYNNEX’s portfolio.

I conducted the investment in FishBrain in October 2013, seizing an opportunity to invest in the, already then, largest angler community in the world. It has since then, kept and accelerated its position and attracted additional investors such as Northzone, Active Venture Partners and GP Bullhound to mention a few.

Being part of the transaction-intensive Technology team where I conducted six investments in the stages of seed to Series A (MSEK 5 to MSEK 35). End-to-end responsibility ranging from in- and outbound deals sourcing to negotiation, board work, follow-on capitalization and exit. Fields covered included FinTech (Mobile Payment Solutions, sold to Nordic Capital), Legal Tech (Avtal24/Agreement24), Community (Fishbrain), Mobile Marketplace (Foap) and Edtech (Soundtrap).

Foap is a market place for micro stock pictures, provided by individuals that world wide upload pictures via the Foap app. Ad agencies and corporations from a wide array of segments buy pictures online. Foap Missions are photo contests where brands interact with users and generate content for specific purposes. Since Industrifonden invested in the Company, investors from all over the world have joined, including e.g. Gary Vaynerchuk and Jeff Zucker.

Mobile Payment Solutions was my first investment at Industrifonden. The Company was developed and grown under our ownership for a little more than two years before it was sold to Cidron SuperPay, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nordic Capital Fund VIII, in December 2014. MPS and its technology now constitutes a key part in Bambora.
