As a Senior Project Manager on the Technical Services Team, I'm responsible for the day-to-day support and mentorship of project leaders across all areas of our IT Services team, and the processes they use every day. This includes our PM Best Practices, Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), and various standards and policies governing day to day project management at SUPERVALU. I pride myself in providing leadership and organized direction by establishing consistent frameworks for managing our various IT projects, including helping to manage the planning, staffing, execution of our multiple technical projects. I manage risks, establish effective and realistic schedules, and provide better budget estimates and execution against approved budget spends.In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I also act as a Project Manager on some of our high-focus projects, facilitating cross functional meetings to address areas that have been identified as points of increased risk for various project teams, with the goal of improving tools or processes to minimize future risk. In addition, I provide monitoring of overall progress and quality of projects, ensuring our adherence to enterprise policies, processes and procedures, as well as best practices. When necessary, I provide escalation support for projects that are determined to be approaching an unacceptable level of risk in an effort to mitigate any risk before it becomes a problem and requires a higher level of detail and support.

As a Project Manager my primary responsibilities are managing the scope, execution of change orders, timeline, budget, invoicing, resourcing and daily client communications on multiple projects involving national and international brands. In addition to the standard duties of a Project Manager, I challenge myself to grow daily by also coordinating QA testing and ticket management, executing content entry tasks, and enhancing my knowledge of Sitecore’s capabilities; a key product application at Horizontal Integration. I work closely with the account director hashing out SOWs, briefs, project estimates and schedules. I manage the internal teams, use Jira for dev tickets, work with vendors and the day-to-day contact with the client. I also eat some chicken in my spare time.My first year at CM, I worked onsite and directly with the General Mills site planner on the LiveBetterAmerica.com. I manage website updates by setting project priorities with the team leads. I used TFS for dev ticketing during our QA testing.
