The project aimed to investigate the behavior of a material, often used in nuclear power plants, exposed to thermal fatigue. Besides FEM-based and mathematical analyses I performed thermal fatigue experiments and investegated the specimens with an ultra sonic crack detection technique. The analyses and experimental results fitted very well together.
