About Malin Thorin

Jag har lång erfarenhet från olika controllerroller vilket har gett mig bred kompetens från flera branscher genom mina jobb som Inköps Controller, Finans Controller och Business Controller. Företagen jag arbetat på har varit inom konfektion, forskning och utveckling, målarfärg samt teknikkonsultbolag. I mina roller har jag ofta arbetat verksamhetsnära och fungerat som en Business Partner till ledningsgrupper och chefer. Det är en roll jag trivs bra med. Under mina år som controller har jag bl a haft och har budgetansvar, varit delaktig i M&A processer, samarbetat med marknadsavdelningar, ansvarat för legala bokslut men även utvecklat utbildningsmaterial för att höja kompetensen kring ekonomi i verksamheten.I min nuvarande roll jobbar jag som Business Controller för en division. Det innebär att jag sitter med i divisionsledningen och stöttar såväl divisionschef som övriga chefer inom divisionen. Jag drivs av att vara delaktig i organisationens strategiska och operativa beslut. Att koppla ihop siffrorna med affären och kunna bidra till att verksamheten tar korrekta beslut är en viktig del i mitt arbete. Det ställer krav på att jobba proaktivt och verksamhetsnära. Andra viktiga delar är rapportering, ad hoc analyser samt utveckling av både system och arbetsprocesser.Jag är en person med ett stort engagemang och trivs både med att jobba självständigt och i team. Jag är en lösningsorienterad person som tror att alla problem är lösbara. Mitt intresse för HR och HR frågor gjorde att jag även skaffade mig en utbildning som HR koordinator/specialist. Jag skulle gärna jobba med det viktigaste ett företag har - människorna! De erfarenheter jag har från olika controllertjänster tar jag med mig in i jobbet som en affärsdriven HR resurs.
