I currently oversee approximately 20 clinical staff members. I am responsible for · coordinating staffing coverage for all clinic team members as needs arise and developing and distributing the weekly clinical schedule consisting of the 20 clinical staff memebers and 16 providers. I am flexible and help to fill in on the floor, on short notice, when there are staffing shortages. I review and manage all time off requests for the team and finalize and approve weekly timecards. I am also responsible for talent acquisition and staff education for new hire & core staff. I plan and facilitate monthly clinical team meetings. I help identify performance barriers and provide direction and employee counseling & education as appropriate. I also participate collaboratively as part of the leadership team in bi-weekly meetings to plan, develop, and execute new clinical and office policies & processes. I maintain excellent communication and effective working relationships with patients, providers, clinical staff, as well as ancillary staff, administration, and supervisor colleagues. I also communicate and maintain relationships with community resources, such as the public health department.
