PURPOSE IN MY PROFESSIONI love spending my professional time where there is a positive impact on people, growth and innovation. I can be both an individual contributor or part of a team to create scale and grow an organisation’s portfolio. To accomplish this, I focus on nurturing genuine relationships, adapt quickly to new learnings and organise my work process with a methodical approach. Perhaps being a mum of 3 under 7 has unlocked a new level of organised workflows - you should see how colourful my calendar is! I SURVIVED CANCERIn 2017, I was diagnosed with cancer when my firstborn was just 8 weeks old. Getting through 8 months of chemo, recovery and figuring out motherhood was the toughest time of my life - it was my mental strength that got me through that journey and experiencing personal GROWTH from a traumatic time in my life made me discover a level of resilience I never knew I had. Now with a second chance in life, I value working with companies that have a clear purpose, an amazing culture and are very people and customer centric.IN THE BUSINESS OF GROWING BUSINESSESWhen I graduated, I didn’t intend to get into a career of sales. But by opportunity, I did. And what I discovered is that beyond revenue, sales is a lot about people, partnerships and problem-solving - which is what excites me in any work that I do! Sales has been a core component in what I spend my time doing, be it working for a company or for my own startup endeavours. Throughout my career I have developed the art of being able to communicate with anyone, which might have been why a client gave me a compliment that I can “sell ice to an eskimo”.
