• Supervise the design and manufacturing of all automotive related students’ competition projects including SAE/Formula Student and Shell Eco-Marathon.• Assist the students with the electro/mechanical component selection such as motors, sensors, bearings, materials, fittings, connectors…etc.• Selection and purchasing of new machinery and equipment, arranging for quotation bidding and preparing the required documentation and facility alterations. Commence installation, testing, and calibration.• Assist in running the Rapid manufacturing facility which includes 3D printing, 3D scanning, CNC machining, Laser cutting and thermoforming.• Assist with faculty research projects involving machine design and mechanical/electromechanical design and manufacturing.• An active contributor to the Engineering Enrichment Program (EEP), I designed and instructed multiple courses covering topics that included CAD, Simulation, Design for manufacturing and Vehicle Dynamics. • Full technical support for the EEP’s technical build projects, • Support the areas of machine design, mechanics of materials, material testing and characterization• Responsible for setting up Mechanical Engineering laboratories. • Responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the mechanics of materials, material testing, and characterization laboratory.

Research AssociateMechanical/Electromechanical design engineerTexas A&M University at QatarMy duties included conducting research in the area of design and development of downhole mechatronic subassemblies and systems. The research resulted in the two published patents. My role included:• Assisting in developing grant proposals and contributed to the research planning.• Complete Mechanical design and development of different downhole tools from concept to prototype building up to developing a well-worthy product for field testing.• Conducting numerous computer simulations, designed and built a physical testing facility to test prototype tools and to validate the simulation results.• Prepared workshop drawings and supervised the complete manufacturing, assembly and testing processes of our prototypes.• Other examples of my work included the design of flywheel-based energy storage systems, mechanical current commutators and magnetic gearboxes in addition to different laboratory setups for research in the area for electric motors development.• Was also in charge of selecting the required lab equipment and arrange for quotation bidding and prepared the required documentation and facility alterations and supervised installation and commissioning.
