- Supervised a portfolio of unique research efforts from investigation design to final reports and dissemination. - Wrote winning proposals and grant applications. - Project manager for two energy efficient housing grants (> $1 million value each). - Managed multi-site project team including technical experts, building scientists, and field techs. - Enrolled 50 homeowners in 18 months of residential data collection. - Led RTI's Hazardous Materials Committee. Supervised regulatory compliance audit and dry-runs of emergency spill response. Successfully applied for Governor's Award for Waste Reduction, recognizing the diverse efforts underway in many RTI facilities. - Collected data for Life Cycle Assessment analyses (including assessing green house gas equivalents ). - Examined emerging environmental technologies to incorporate in EPA decision support tools. - Analyzed opportunities related to environmental management systems such as ISO 14001. - Managed EPA contracts and cooperative agreements to produce deliverables on time and on budget. - Engaged stakeholders, including Native American Tribes, in developing air pollution regulations. - Developed “plain English” outreach materials for non-technical audiences.
