I have always known that I should work with children since I was a child myself. Growing up with my mothers daycare and seeing children come and go, helping out and taking on the role as a caregiver at the age of 13, it was something that came naturally to me and something that I was good at. Into adulthood, I applied for schools for Early Childhood Education and currently am a student at National Louis University to seek my career with working with children. As a student, I work part-time nannying in a household that gives me the flexible schedule in school as well as being a caregiver. Over the past few years I have worked in Pre-Schools and nannying gaining more knowledge and experience with children. I have done many duties in creating lesson plans, creating activities, caring for, and creating a safe learning environment for children. As a student, I am currently on the honor roll and working hard to get my bachelors degree. I am hard working, patient, productive, and someone you can always count on. Outside of work and school, you can find me cooking a homecooked meal in my kitchen at home, spending time on morning walks before work or in the gym. I love to be outdoors and spend time with family and friends as well. I think as a future educator it is important to incorporate healthy activities during the day that I strongly feel help you as a person and as a teacher in the classroom.
