Course Redesign Consultant
Worked with a team to redesign Thayer School of Engineering’s Capstone Design Course: ENGS 89/90. In this conducted numerous stakeholder interviews within an iterative design process to integrate new content into the class system. Particular emphasis was placed on the inclusion of teachings on diversity and inclusion, as well as team dynamics within the course. Topics surrounding critical social theory and its connection to the engineering discipline were interwoven throughout the course content. Additional structures to help manage team dynamics were integrated through assignments and lecture content.

Worked with and managed a team to analyze Dartmouth’s energy use within campus buildings within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Using data from Dartmouth’s Facilities Operations & Management, analyzed how different set-back measures put in place during the Spring Term 2020 affected campus building energy use. Volunteer Operations Manager
Throughout the COVID pandemic, conducted research and various design iterations to design a high-performing mask. These marks would be distributed to those in the local community in need of additional protection beyond a standard cotton mask. After mask design was finalized, created and managed a system of 30+ volunteer sewers to help produce over 1,000 standard and high-performance masks. For this work, was awarded the Thayer’s Special Faculty Award for Engineering and Service to Humanity, for “outstanding service to Dartmouth and the Upper Valley amid the COVID-19 pandemic”.
