A six-week sustainability consulting accelerator covering end-to-end Net Zero strategy to decarbonization. The course covers courses & practical labs on Net Zero Target Setting, Materiality Assessments, GHG Accounting (Scope 1, 2 & 3 & Life Cycle Assessment), Reporting & Disclosure Frameworks, Net Zero Transition Planning as well as hosting expert industry speakers on the topics. Throughout the course we also cover SBTi, CDP, GHG Protocol, ISO14000s Standards, IFRS S1 & S2, SASB, GRI, TCFD, TNFD, CSRD, among other leading sustainability standards & frameworks.

Worked with a team to redesign Thayer School of Engineering’s Capstone Design Course: ENGS 89/90. In this conducted numerous stakeholder interviews within an iterative design process to integrate new content into the class system. Particular emphasis was placed on the inclusion of teachings on diversity and inclusion, as well as team dynamics within the course. Topics surrounding critical social theory and its connection to the engineering discipline were interwoven throughout the course content. Additional structures to help manage team dynamics were integrated through assignments and lecture content.

Assisted groups of 5 students, each term, in working through the iterative design process to design, test and present a solution to a selected engineering problem. Collaborated with machine shop technicians, Thayer professors and outside entities to effectively guide students through the design process. Managed group conflicts within teams and provided guidance on presentations and reports.

Worked with and managed a team to analyze Dartmouth’s energy use within campus buildings within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Using data from Dartmouth’s Facilities Operations & Management, analyzed how different set-back measures put in place during the Spring Term 2020 affected campus building energy use. Presented findings to a group of Dartmouth stakeholders engaged in future energy work on the Dartmouth campus.

Hanover, New Hampshire, United States

Throughout the COVID pandemic, conducted research and various design iterations to design a high-performing mask. These marks would be distributed to those in the local community in need of additional protection beyond a standard cotton mask. After mask design was finalized, created and managed a system of 30+ volunteer sewers to help produce over 1,000 standard and high-performance masks. For this work, was awarded the Thayer’s Special Faculty Award for Engineering and Service to Humanity, for “outstanding service to Dartmouth and the Upper Valley amid the COVID-19 pandemic”.

President of the largest, oldest college outing club in the United States, working with 8 full-time college staff members, and a 12 person student directorate of club leaders. The DOC serves over 2000 students and many community members. Particular Focuses During Candidacy:- Bringing Environmental Stewardship back to the DOC:Facilitated discussion of environmentalism through the creation of the DOC Stewardship Committee. As chair of the Stewardship Committee, brought students from a variety of backgrounds together to create innovative solutions to the problems of outdoor recreation emissions. -Attention to Inclusivity and Retention within the DOC:Worked with VP's to host inclusivity discussions with an eventual goal of writing an open Inclusivity Action Plan specific to the DOC-Attention on Risk Management within each Sub-Club:Promoted technical expert consultancy and specialized skills trainings for each sub-club

Analyzed various earthquake resistant school designs based on engineering and human-centered design criteria. Trekked through remote Nepalli communities while collecting data through critical observation and interviews through translators.

Attended an International Leadership Summit at Northeastern University in October 2017. Pursuing an initiative to bring the Dartmouth Outing Club to carbon-neutrality by 2020.

Worked to prepare feed for continuous cycle high pH anaerobic bacteria reactors. Sampled said reactors, as well as learned proper lab techniques and safety skills.

Commercially raft guided on Class III-IV, Whitewater on the Animas River. Gained valuable leadership experience through organizing trips as a Trip Leader during her second river season. Extreme attention to rescue, safety, and customer service through guiding.

In 2012-2013 worked with a team to design and implement latrines in rural Ecuador, traveled to Ecuador for 2 weeks to assist with building the latrines in Llillia, Ecuador.In 2013-2014 traveled with a team to rural Myanmar, to gather data for potential water system projects in the area.In 2014-2015 helped design and build water systems in Pon Phrone, Myanmar as Assistant Project Lead. Spent three weeks in Pon Phrone living, and building the system with the community.
