I serve as the Emergency Department Director for AdventHealth Zephyrhills. We see over 42,000 patients a year in a 26 bed ED with an 8 vertical care space front end process. I am responsible for a variety of FTEs, including ANMs, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, EMT, Paramedics, and MAs. Currently in the process of opening a new 12 bed free standing ER, Meadow Pointe. Set to open spring 2025.While within this role, I have been able to drive results to better care for our community. Patient Experience has significantly improved, LWBS rates have been consistently been below goal, and our overall metrics have greatly improved. I currently serve as the co-chair on the West Florida Division ED Council and am the representative for WFD Corporate ED Council.
