About Mallory Doyle

My name is Mallory Doyle and I have worked as a registered nurse for over seven years in various hospital settings. My husband is an attorney in the United States Army. I have lived in Michigan, Kansas, Arizona, Texas, and Virginia. I have three young children at home, ages 5, 3, and 11 months. Before nursing school, I worked for two years at nursing homes as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Saginaw, Michigan and Manhattan, Kansas. Then, my first job after earning my Registered Nurse (RN) license was on a geriatric psychiatric floor in Tucson, Arizona. This job was especially challenging because we often had several patients who the state courts committed to the hospital and did not want medical care.I also have experience as a nurse manager. I worked as a charge nurse on an ICU step down unit in El Paso, Texas, and I currently work as a case manager at Martha Jefferson Hospital—where I have learned the importance of making sure patients have access to the care and resources needed to stay healthy after leaving the hospital.
