During boot camp sessions, each client receives three hours of therapy every day. Therapy includes individual, group, and computer therapy targeting individuals' needs. Throughout my job, I help with group therapy (keeping clients focused, helping with activities) and I also conduct therapy with individuals (guide them with the iPad/computer, help with memory activities, etc.)

Working as a lab intern in the Cognitive Communication Lab at Texas State University. The C2 Lab houses the research study, conducted by Dr. Valerie Fleming, on mild to severely cognitively impaired patients. My duties as an intern include: organizing client's speech samples, transcribing the speech samples, and editing the speech samples in the program called SALT. I am also obliged to uphold client/research confidentiality while I am working as an intern, and furthermore. I am educated on copyright laws and regulations, and also up-to-date with the ever changing research policies.
