I have graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Social Work degree and completed an Addiction and Mental Health Graduate Certificate from Durham College. Through my work/volunteer experience, I have evidenced my passion and dedication for working with children and their families. I have been trained in an Anti-Oppressive Approach to Social Work and work to foster resiliency in others through a process of critical reflexivity and deployment of various relevant, therapies including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused. I have since completed a Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in Children and their Families from University of Toronto’s Factor Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. I am eager to continue to build my clinical social work experiences through my work with children and their families.
