Tutor at the Academic Resource Center. Subjects include: PreCalc, Calc 1, Calc 3, Principles of Economics.

Assist students K-12 on varying levels of math and problem solving. Great experience working with younger children in an academic setting.

Working with grades 6-12th on a variety of subjects (History, Math, Science, ELA). Both 1-on-1 tutoring and group tutoring.

Mentors first-year college students beginning their research journey. Assists in the lesson planning and lesson delivery of FAU research methodology courses. Gives feedback and grades student assignments (literature reviews, mock grant proposals…)

Assisted students both during the lectures, and held office hours outside of class time. Held review sessions to help students prepare for upcoming exams. Worked alongside professors to assist students in learning Calculus 1 in groupwork sessions.

Managed the website for the ASCE student chapter at FAU. Monitors and creates social media postings.

Selected to be a student in the Leadership GROW Program. It is a program for high school juniors and assists them in exploring career options within Palm Beach County.

Investigating and optimizing a carbon capture and storage (CCS) technique that involves the use of natural seawater to store CO2 in waste concrete powder.Exploring the possibility of using the electrolysis of natural seawater as a means of carbon capture and generation of useful chemical byproducts. This project was submitted for FAU’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF). Gaining experience in grant and manuscript writing, as well as various techniques for instrumentation (included below) which assisted in the acquisition and quantification of data in relation to CO2 capture at a microscale.

Surveyed vegetation on FAU's on site nature preserve. Also monitored Gopher Tortoise Burrows with the goal of comparing vegetation survey information to gopher tortoise burrow locations. Worked under Dr. Dianne Owen, Dr. Evelyn Frazier, and Mrs. Jasmine Coyle.
