Due to owner changes the name of the company was changed to HomeSide Lending, Inc. in 1995. During this period the total campus square footage grew to approximately 600,000. Also during this time my responsibilities evolved into a facilities manager position. In July 2002 Washington Mutual acquired HomeSide Lending, at that time I was employed by CB Richard Ellis as a facilities manager on the Washington Mutual account.Managed a campus of between eight and eleven buildings; ranging between 500,000 to 600,000 square feet of office space and 70,000 square feet of document storage/warehouse space with an employee population of 2,500.
