As the academic specialist, I am over all Response to Intervention in general education classes and pull out classes, PLCs in regards to learning labs and intervention, working with paraprofessionals, and campus testing in regards to College Board AP, PSAT testing, and NWEA MAP testing.

I was the assistant principal for a PK - 5th grade campus with 650 students. My role consisted of student discipline, Response to Intervention coordinator, ESL/LPAC coordinator, 504 coordinator, state testing coordinator for STAAR, TELPAS coordinator, NWEA MAP coordinator, TTESS evaluator for half of the teachers on the campus, attendance/truancy coordinator, and coordinator of all safety/emergency drills on campus.
