Ms. McTarnaghan joined Stephenson, Acquisto & Colman in March 2023 as a healthcare litigation attorney in the Chicago office. She represents healthcare providers in state and federal court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations against insurance companies, heath plans, and government health insurance programs. From 2021-2023, Ms. McTarnaghan gained experience with a large Chicago-based law firm in the areas of healthcare litigation, hospital liability defense, and long-term care litigation, representing hospitals, universities, physicians, and nurses in a wide variety of medical actions.While attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Ms. McTarnaghan was a Senior Editor of the Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences and was a member of Loyola’s Health Law Moot Court program. At Lake Forest College, Ms. McTarnaghan conducted research in cellular biology and anatomy and graduated with dual degrees in neuroscience and psychology. Beyond the legal field, Ms. McTarnaghan enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
