Through my clinical experiences at the Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Center and at OSF Healthcare as well as my work experience as a paraprofessional in a Level III Autism Classroom, I have fostered my passion for promoting the communication abilities and quality of life of individuals with disabilities. My personal approach is to build connections through shared interests to provide relevant, enjoyable therapeutic approaches. I like to say my most important clinical skill is a passing knowledge of Minecraft. I cherish the knowledge clients bring and the opportunities to work their interests and strengths into the activities I present. I hope to continue growing my knowledge of therapeutic approaches (and Pokemon, JoJo Siwa, amigurumi, magic tricks, etc) through my clinical fellowship.
