Design engineer for the Municipal Water Group of the Water Solutions Division.Calistoga Setback Levee – Orting, WA•Designed 7,000 feet of FEMA certifiable setback levee to increase flood protection for the City of Orting.•Created a complex Civil 3D model of setback levee section, including a stormwater conveyance ditch and an excavated toe armor placement area. Additional design involved fish passable culverts, outfalls and stormwater detention ponds. Silverdale Water District Water Main Improvements – Silverdale, WA•Designed 19,000 feet of water main and reclaimed water main throughout a commercial center. •Integrated pipe plan and profile into space constrained project site to minimize roadway restoration and avoid various utility conflicts. Sunnyslope Water District Water System Plan – Port Orchard, WA•Completed the 2012 update of the Sunnyslope Water District Comprehensive Water System Plan. •Utilized District records to analyze water use and production trends, and projected future demand for the system.•Performed the hydraulic analysis of the system using WaterCAD water modeling software. Robert’s Drive Sidewalk Improvements – Black Diamond, WA•Completed design of pedestrian and stormwater improvements along 950 feet of roadway.•Created Civil 3D corridor to model new paved shoulder, curb and gutter, paved parking area, and sidewalk.
