He is a licensed architect in the State of California.As a design principal at DLR Group | RossDrulisCusenbery, he leads the studio in a collaborative and inquiring design process. Mr. Cusenbery designs community centers that support the growth and rebuilding of young-people’s lives, as well as the public safety facilities that provide for cities’ safety and security. His architecture reconciles diverse perspectives on justice, law enforcement, social equity, functionality and public art. He works closely with a diverse range of individuals, from marginalized youth to powerful community and governmental leaders. Mr. Cusenbery has led the planning and design of over $2 billion in community, public safety and justice projects. He contributes to the broader design dialogue by writing, curating and speaking on the opportunities of architecture.
