I am currently finishing my last semester of my Materials Science and Engineering degree at Purdue University. Over spring and summer of 2021 I completed my senior design project to design a custom bottle opener product and small scale manufacturing plan for the Materials Engineering department. While working on the project I gained diverse skills including modeling in AutoCAD and SolidWorks and metallurgic skills including casting ingots and design of rolling schedules. In spring of 2021 I finished my last semester as a validation co-op at Catalent Biologics. During my time at Catalent I learned about the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. I was able to create and execute validation protocols and worked on several fast paced projects to help the department keep up with increased demand during the pandemic. I have experience working in clean rooms, on the manufacturing floor, and with confidential material. As a validation co-op I worked in equipment validation and process validation, but was also given several opportunities to work on projects in several departments outside of validation.The best part of any projects in my career at Purdue and Catalent have been opportunities to work on unique projects where I can apply creative solutions that may not be typical of an engineering student. Outside of school I enjoy playing guitar and piano, painting, drawing and digital art of all kinds. I'm looking for a company where I will be able to use all of my skills, technical and creative, to solve problems.
