We've created unique digital dashboards for clients to receive information in real-time, and also offer in depth weather & business analytics to clients. In 2022, I completed my MBA in Business Analytics from the University of Maine, and I earned the highly coveted Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) seal from the American Meteorological Society in 2020. My weather intrigue began during the Blizzard of 1996 in New Jersey, and continued through my college education at Penn State University. Internships in both New York City and Atlantic City gave me the first look into broadcast meteorology. Upon receiving my Bachelor of Science in Meteorology in 2008, I left for Harrisonburg, Virginia for my first television job at WHSV. Within my time there, I earned the American Meteorological Society's Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal.Given my love for snow, I took the leap to Maine for my next broadcast meteorologist job. Within the first year, we developed the Weather At Your School program, an enhanced mountain report and partnership with ski areas, and boosted our digital and social media presence to new heights. In 2017, I decided to launch Nor'easter Weather Consulting to allow for more focus on the science of forecasting. As one of two active female meteorologists to hold both the CCM & CBM seals from the American Meteorological Society, I continue to intertwine both the consulting and broadcast worlds by freelancing in the Portland, ME TV market. In addition, a large focus remains on STEM in the classroom, as I continue to visit classrooms virtually and in person, develop webinars, and attend speaking engagements.
