Horizon West Middle School

- Recipient of the 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year- Meets daily with teachers to support their utilization of evidence-based instructional practices, implementation of educational technology, and creation of data-driven instructional plans that meet all student needs.- Design and facilitate monthly school-wide professional development and one-on-one learning sessions focused on instructional practices that align with district and school goals.- Represents the learning community as a digital instructional leader, Canvas LMS expert, and Skyward help representative and serves as a point of contact for all teachers, students, and families.- Developed numerous organizational systems and school-wide programs to support the administration, staff, students, and families, since the school opened in 2019.- Organizes and analyze school-wide data to identify trends, diagnose instructional needs, and identify research-based instructional strategies to close achievement gaps.- Created a Student Tech Support class and trained a team of students to assist in troubleshooting technology issues for the entire student body.

Bridgewater Middle School

- Differentiated math instruction for gifted, on-level, and ELL students by creating personalized learning pathways utilizing digital platforms, such as Canvas.- Represented the math department as a lead and was responsible for facilitating weekly meetings and collaboratively working with my teammates to analyze data and plan engaging instruction.- Represented the school as a Digital Curriculum Lead and was responsible for facilitating learning experiences for staff to improve their digital instruction.- Attended monthly technology meetings and professional development opportunities, then taught the content to our school’s staff utilizing a teach the teacher model.

Dunwoody Elementary School

- Collaboratively worked with my teammates to increase student scores on state tests; resulting in our school ranking in the top 10 elementary schools for 3rd grade Language Arts in Georgia.- Developed hands-on and digital Language Arts, Science, and Math resources for use in my own classroom and to share with others on the grade level team.- Presented professional development sessions on Nearpod and Math Chats to all faculty and supported the staff with integration of these programs.
