I’m Dr. Mallory D. McCoy, an educational entrepreneur driven by a deep passion for empowering individuals, especially Black girls and women in suburban communities. With over 16 years of experience as an educator, I’ve had the privilege of working across diverse educational environments, advocating for underrepresented voices, and creating meaningful connections. As the co-founder and lead session facilitator of bell's garden, I’m on a mission to provide mentorship, resources, and educational programs that foster intrapersonal growth and elevate the voices of Black girls and the women who support them. Throughout my journey, I’ve combined my expertise in education with a commitment to community-building. My approach is rooted in understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by marginalized groups. I work tirelessly to create environments where every individual feels seen, heard, and empowered to thrive. Whether through bell's garden or my blog and podcast, I aim to create spaces for honest dialogue, growth, and transformation. Key accomplishments include:- Co-founding bell's garden, a brand that is dedicated to the empowerment and academic success of Black girls in suburban spaces.- Advocating for change in education systems, amplifying voices that often go unheard, and developing strategies for meaningful community involvement.- Hosting an impactful podcast show like A Monday Moment with Dr. Mal, where I connect with experts and thought leaders on topics ranging from wellness to education and beyond. I currently stream on the ALIVE Podcast Network, the first Black-owned, woman-owned podcast network in the United States.- Being an author and storyteller, sharing my lived experiences to guide others on their personal and professional journeys. As I continue to grow my business and expand my reach, I aspire to further develop as an intrapersonal development coach and become a leading voice in educational entrepreneurship. I’m passionate about helping Black girls navigate the complexities of education, identity, and self-empowerment while guiding educators, parents, and stakeholders to support them effectively. My future goals include expanding bell’s garden into a nationally recognized brand that provides educational programming, mentorship, and community-building for Black girls and women in suburban spaces. I also aim to continue to speak at conferences, collaborate with like-minded organizations, and share my knowledge to help foster systemic change within education.Let's connect!
