I am a certified teacher, reading specialist, and administrator. I hold two Master of Education (M.Ed.) degrees, including an M.Ed. in Reading from the University of Texas at Tyler and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University. Additionally, I received my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English with a concentration in Multicultural Literature and a minor in History from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have taught ELA and Social Studies at all levels in private and public schools. In addition to classroom teaching, I offer private tutoring services, including 1:1 dyslexia therapy. I have also assisted in curriculum design and district professional development. Whether working with students above level or below level, I differentiate instruction to ensure all students’ needs are met. I offer support and guidance to help students become lifelong learners, readers, and critical thinkers.
