Primary Duties:-Ensure continuity and development of programs by designing, implementing, and administering year-round opportunities which satisfy the ever-changing needs of girls in grades K-12-Develop collaborative programming with community partners, adult volunteers, and membership, which meets the council’s objectives for Girl Programming -Supervise volunteers and Community partners who host events, assist in their planning efforts, ensure council standards are adhered to-Access and measure outcome of events each season; increase efforts to further or more specifically meet the council’s and girls’ needs/interests after reflecting on programming gaps or successes-Determine budget for events and track all expenditures related to programs throughout the year -Interpret and follow GSUSA and GSLPG council policies and procedures -Schedule, implement, evaluate or assist with council sponsored regional programming

Primary Duties:-operate the Federal Perkins loan program in accordance with University policies and applicable laws-maintain and revise policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and University policies related to financial aid-reconcile monthly and continually maintain those financial records in order to comply with various entities, such as the university, auditors, program reviewers, and accreditation teams-met with students and alumni as the direct contact for past and present Perkins loan borrowers; advise them on topics such as their loan terms, repayment options, and exit requirements-conduct public speaking events at area schools in which our office explains relevant information such as estimated cost of attendance, how to complete the FAFSA, general registration questions, and much more.

Duties and Responsibilities: -Coordinator of both the “Reading Readiness” and “Lunch Buddy” programs for Southwest Louisiana-Provide continuous match support for all parties enrolled in school-based programs (including adult volunteers, school aged students, school personnel, and family members)-Responsible for nearly doubling active matches in one year-Recruitment and onboarding/training of new match participants-Interview and assess new match applicants -Obtain and record data, computer input-Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations -Plan and host match events-Budget compliance and review
