Ever since I've had the privilege of leading a team at work and my boys at home, I start every day with the acknowledgement and focus on making a difference in people's lives. It's fun to look back at how I got here. After graduating from the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia, I had the chance to work at Concept Hub, Inc., a start-up social media agency in Atlanta, where I learned more than I could possibly imagine about online promotion and strategy as well as multiple business and life lessons. I then joined the Georgia Aquarium where I continued to follow my strong interest in social media conversation and research, website management and creative writing. In 2012 I moved on to The Coca-Cola Company's global digital communications team as a Social Media Analyst wearing many hats including digital analyst, blog manager and social content creator. Coke's passion-filled environment was contagious, and its truly international experience made it an incomparable experience I will always appreciate.Next up was Walmart where I immersed myself in a purpose-driven company, discovered the ins and outs of retail and learned daily from a super talented team. What an honor it was to continue the legacy of Sam Walton's vision.My newest exciting adventure landed at Delta Air Lines where I first aligned social media efforts across the business. Now I'm leaning into the other side of my digital love with a leadership role focused on the technology, governance, user experience, design and authoring community behind all the platforms and channels of our Global Communications Team.I'm also very passionate about traveling, personal finance, and understanding different cultures and perspectives.
