As a former member of the Music Learning Community myself, I was passionate about the learning communities at UGA. As a Peer Adviser, I was responsible for 25 freshman students in the Music Learning Community. I taught the group in a weekly class, mentored them through their freshman year, and constructed and led three Service Learning activities with the students throughout the school year.

- Calculation and development of an automated production plan for the manufacturing of ice machines based on supply and demand constraints for 15 production lines, reducing 30% in safety stock. - Author of Manufacturing Process Instructions for 15 production lines according to ISO9000 standards- Consultation with fabrication employees to reorganize a work-in-process area to group material first by production line and second by part number, reducing the material handlers’ learning curve for new employees- Consultation on over 100 claims with third-party carriers for customer concerns- Recommendation of proper disposition of copper tubing for a pending obsolete unit and revealed use on new unit being phased in, saving $10,000 in annual inventory costs.
