Duties included general admin work such as contract review, invoicing, and budget projections. Specifically, I was tasked with overseeing all aspects of a research project including interviewer training, project design, sample management, and data processing and cleaning. Queries were created in Microsoft Access to search for invalid data points. Open ended responses were edited for spelling and re-coded into the proper response options when possible. Frequencies were checked for extra and missing data points. Data sets were delivered monthly to the CDC who checked for errors. State specific data sets were given to the Department of Health in various formats and monthly quality reports were included as well.
