Office Of Children And Youth

Under the direction of the Office of Children and Youth I was tasked to assist in oversight, management, and evaluation of the Mayor's Scholars Academy. The Mayor’s Scholars Academy is a free academic enrichment program that takes place over four weeks in the summer promoting success in high school and college aspiration and success. We had 300 students.

Pasco School District is diverse growing district in Eastern Washington. I taught all core and supplemental subjects to students in a main stream classroom. I carried out student intervention and worked collaboratively with educational aids to help students succeed My classroom was a wealth of engagement and love for learning, done in constructivist.

I served as the ECEAP (Early Childhood Education Assistance Program) Coordinator and Family Advocate. I collaborated with the contractor to meet state and federal guidelines regarding the preschool program and social service hours.
