I am currently studying mechanical engineering at the TU in Munich. During this time period I already had the opportunity of gaining valuable work experience, due to internships and student jobs. My most recent experience is a startup called Atomionics. After my exchange semster at the NUS in Singapore, I stayed and took the position as mechanical design intern. They specialize in Cold Atom Interferometry. With the help of another intern, we were designing, prototyping, implementing and ordering the parts for the mechanisms we build. Before that I worked as an intern at BMW, where I took on several projects, with the biggest focus on digitalization. I Implemented new software, which displays important information on a dashboard (such as progress towards weekly goals, utilization of machines, upcoming tasks, etc.), resulting in a digitalization of information sharing among employees. Besides that, I analyzed machine data to estimate expected time of production processes. Findings resulted in better scheduling of machine use over long periods of time. Thanks to my passion in mechanics, I had the opportunity of working as a teaching assistant, where I helped students with problems, explaining concepts and showing new approaches to solving problems.A notable sideproject I did was participating in the robotics club.▪I created a running robot from scratch with only a motor, a 3-D printer, and 1kg of printing material and personally designed and simulated the robot model in SolidWorks.
