Malwina is a seasoned leader in the realms of art, culture, and education, with nearly two decades of experience in creating transformative initiatives and comprehensive program management for academic and nonprofit organizations in NYC, the United States, and internationally. Known for her adeptness in forging strategic partnerships, she skillfully unites diverse organizations from the non-profit, public, and business sectors to facilitate innovative collaborations that realize visionary projects.At Columbia University, Malwina developed two signature initiatives, the Arts Initiative and Studio-X, which highlight her ability to interconnect disciplines and bring complex ideas into the public sphere through multifaceted programs, projects, and events. These include conferences, exhibitions, film screenings, performances, podcasts, publications, virtual livestream conversations, and websites, among others. Today, she leads RAICES’ creative partnerships with artists, content producers, and cultural organizations that aim to elevate the discourse on immigration and unite us through our common humanity.Malwina's unique niche is her ability to harness storytelling to examine societal dynamics, positioning herself as a curator, producer, storyteller, and connector. She manages diverse cross-cultural teams, leading large-scale initiatives from concept to completion while navigating bureaucratic and entrepreneurial environments. Her career encompasses the successful creation and management of diverse new initiatives, along with expertise in strategic planning, optimizing operations, digital strategy, marketing, and fundraising.Fluent in English and Polish, and enriched by extensive travel and global work experience on special projects and venue launches in Brazil, China, India, Poland, and South Africa, Malwina is committed to fostering intellectual and cultural engagement. Her work is augmented by her academic insight as a Ph.D. candidate in Communications at Columbia University, where she researches the marketing of ideas. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Creative Writing, an M.S. in Fundraising Management, an M.A. in Sociology, and an M.Phil. in Communications from Columbia.Living in Southampton with her family, Malwina also serves on the Board of Trustees of The Children’s Museum of the East End.
