I am a first year junior at The University of North Texas. I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management. I previously obtained my associates degree from Dallas College while in high school. I plan to become an HR generalist or manager in the upcoming years. I am excited to assist with recruiting, compensation, employee relations, and overall just work with people. I have experience working for a summer camp. This allowed me to strengthen my leadership and communication skills due to working with children. I had to guide them with each activity and effectively communicate rules for their safety. While also working at Designer Shoe Warehouse, I've learned customer service skills. While working in retail, I understood how to resolve conflict with customers and help them receive what they were looking for.
