Communication Officer
CurrentMajor responsibilities:- Provide technical support during Advocacy Strategy Planning Meetings throughout the consultation and the draft of the advocacy strategy.- Support in the implementation of the advocacy strategy.- Produce, every quarter, communication materials containing reports on the working conditions in rubber and banana plantations, infographics, videos, and/or photographs, posts, and other suitable material to be shared among national and international stakeholders, namely the Cambodian government, the EU, UN, ILO and Cambodia’s international donors.- Prepare the most appropriate methodology to reach the target groups and stakeholders more effectively and disseminate the prepared and printed material. - Support in organizing and facilitating meetings (Public Campaign Planning Meetings) with representatives of banana and rubber plantation workers, representatives of civil society and community-based organizations to collect feedback and recommendations to define the message of the public campaign.- Plan the activities and contents of the public campaign to raise awareness among the Cambodian population.- Support in implementing the public campaign by producing easy-to-read materials and high-quality educational videos and define the most appropriate channels for their dissemination and to disseminate them online.- To produce quarterly specific communication on working conditions in the rubber and banana plantations, project activities, and the progress and use infographics, videos and/or photographs, posts, and other suitable material to have functional communication.- Disseminate the created material to national and international stakeholders, after defining the most effective dissemination methods.
