I'm a Senior Writing Consultant and Academic Mentor specialized in helping ELL students become more confident in their writing skills. I'm also someone who's had an untraditional path to success. I've: --- graduated from high school with an A.S. in Social Sciences --- took a gap year after high school to work as an instructional assistant for Richmond Public Schools--- studied abroad in Cork, Ireland during my first year of college --- participated in the Global Career Accelerator Program for Digital Marketing --- and now I'm graduating in two years with three minors: Psychology, Creative Writing, and Professional Writing & Editing I can't wait to take more opportunities that come my way and continue helping my peers live untraditionally, too. During my time as a Writing Consultant for the VCU Writing Center I've lead and created workshops, used my skills in Adobe Premiere Pro to create videos for our archive, and collaborated with VCU's Global Education Office to meet the needs of ELL and international students.
