Setting up a new capability:• Built a brand new Design capability in Deloitte Ventures UK, spanning across 5 key pillars: Design Strategy, Proposition, Research, Product Design and Culture• Set the experience strategy and design vision for Deloitte Ventures UK across our £80 million Product portfolio and Innovation pipeline• Built strong relationships across disjointed business units to identify new opportunities for innovation, as well as embedded design into new and existing products & service offerings• Attracted and recruited top external talent to forge a team of 24 design experts capable of working across varied projects and products that aligned to strategic growth areas and forecasted client demands• Created and scaled our design capabilities operational ways of working, using design-led methodologies, design systems and scalable design approachesHeld the following responsibilities: • Acted as the point of authority for experience design across Ventures UK, providing guidance to internal teams and clients about Experience Design (UX), proposition design, design strategy, interface design and design systems, while providing governance and leadership across key projects • Collaborated closely with other capability leaders from Engineering, Product Management, Brand & Marketing and Data & AI to strengthen the businesses ways of working across our asset enabled business• Managed and consulted with various business unit teams to help create products and services that use evidence-based data & insights via our research team to support business objectives• Helped build and curate Deloitte Ventures design training curriculum to support our designer’s personal development, career objectives and well-being.
