 Induction and training of all new staff to agreed standards Ensure adequate staffing levels, approve annual and other leave, and organise rotas ensuring all functions are covered as required.  Deal with more complex enquiries from patients including informal complaints relating to reception functions.  Continually assess and evaluate systems and quality, recommending changes and improvements to the practice manager as appropriate.  Manage day to day issues that may arise within the team or with individuals.  Regularly evaluate quality of individual and team performance.  Preparing weekly and monthly reports.  Support the annual appraisal process for reception staff.  Provide excellent customer service

 Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.  Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors and patients.  Maintain business inventory such as checking supplies, scheduling equipment and maintenance repairs.  Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.  Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.  Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff and patient information.  Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.  Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism  Assist with admissions/treatment as per agreed protocols.  Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision.  Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.
