As a Tenure-Track Academic Professor at UVA-Wise, I specialize in teaching hospitality, finance and real estate investment courses to undergraduate students. - Direct responsibility for the relationship over the top 20 Petrochemical, Pulp&Paper, and Energy Brazilian companies.- Increased the gross profit of the same clients by more than 35% year-over-year, including mandates in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, and Merge & Acquisition outperforming the budget of USD 25 million in annual revenues.- Conducted equity (IPO) and debt (DCM) sales pitches for Large Corporate clients during Santander International Banking Conference in Cancun, Mexico in 2009, 2010 and 2011- Awarded best Cash Management sales officer in 2009, earning the right to go to the Soccer World Cup in South Africa in 2010

- Successfully created the Multinationals Division in Santander Bank after arriving from the bank headquarters and visited clients in all Spanish regions including Andalusia, Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country, Catalunya, and others. - Increased de Multinationals Division’s revenues from scratch, being the number one Corporate Division in gross profit and number of clients. Multination Division is still the number one today.- Hired and managed a team of 12 bankers with coverage over 800 multinational clients in Sao Paulo Corporate and Middle Market divisions- Developed the relationship with more than 100 European, Asian and American multinational companies with branches located in Sao Paulo, including top tier worldwide companies like General Motors, Boeing, Renault, Nissan, Peugeot, Ford, WalMart, Unilever, Reckit Benckiser, Clariant, Pfizer, Boehringer, DuPont, Avon, 3M, BMW, IBM, Microsoft, Dell, Sony, Toshiba, Oracle, Fujitsu, Honda to cite a few. - Outperformed by more than 20% the revenue budget every year

Co-founder and investor of an online retail store for motorbikes enthusiasts. I sold my participation in 2008, when the company raised from a small inventory located in my backyard to a 10.000 square feet mega-store, with technical assistance for more than 200 bikes per month, four branches in different Brazilian States, more than 70 employees and approximately USD 3.5 million in annual sales. The franchising business plan for this company growth was my MBA entrepreneurial final oral presentation in 2005, graded A+.

- Developed commercial relationship with third party distribution clients of SSB-Citi funds under management to more than 15 international Pension Funds and Insurance companies including Nationwide, Prudential, and MetLife.- Proposed and approved more than ten different Exclusive Mutual Funds to meet each client demands.- Closed the most relevant deal of the year to SSB-Citi Brazil, bringing the possibility to offer the SSB-Citi investment products in the Brazilian number one bank (Bradesco) online platform. - Awarded the best Investment Officer of the year, with a cash prize of USD 20.000 over the bonus policy

- Joined the Brazilian most competitive Banking Trainee Program, with 12 months of paid salary to be trained in all relevant areas of the bank, including an Intensive Credit Course in the bank headquarters in Boston, USA.- Completed the program along with the top 5 trainees, having the opportunity to choose the Derivatives & Trading at Treasury Department, the most recognized division, with the higher bonuses.- Had to leave the bank for 6 months after pitching and convincing one of the bank Directors to invest USD 100.000 of his own money in an internet-based company.

Associate founder of this reverse auction website. After a USD 100.000 angel investor capital raise, I left BankBoston to develop the first idea of an e-procurement website in Brazil. Unfortunately, after six months, the project failed due to impossibilities in the system development and market conditions (internet bubble collapse in early 2000).

- Organized and performed recreational activities with adults and children in different hotels and resort in the State of Sao Paulo, including Hotel Floresta Negra, Hotel Cabeça de Boi, Hotel Eurotur, Hotel Itapoa, Hotel Solar das Andorinhas to cite a few.- Successfully lead over 300 guests in recreational and sports activities during summer and weekends

- General manager assistant to the 1998 Winter Olympics, Nagano, Japan- Lived and experienced paid international internship in Japan for four months from Dec-1997 to Mar-1998

- Created and launched the first online home-broker platform in Brazil through dial-in lines and BBS (bulletin board system) - Implemented the first tool in Excel spreadsheet to manage and update over 100 client databases, including stock, futures, terms, gold, currencies, and loan position on a real-time basis using broadcast data input.
