• Managed UN funded money. Responsibilities included paying utilities bills for refugees, purchasing heating supplies for refugee camps, purchasing burial plots for deceased refugees and arranging funerals for them.
• Helped establish orphanage for children without parents from regions that were affected by war. Managed project that involved caring for children wounded during war.
• Managed project of building new refugee camps (managing with UN money).

Montenegro

• Human relations work in reuniting families that were separated during war, using contacts established with the military.
• Maintained communications for separate parties: via letters and arranging amateur radio connections.
• Worked directly with European Unity Peacekeepers to acquire use of their satellite communications and schedule refugee contacts with family members separated by war.
