• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions• Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans. Maintain the financial health of the organization• Lease with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained• Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure - Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues• Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company• Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
