Mamadou Sow is an Executive Finance Leader with more than 30 years diverse experiences across leading multinationals in the Oil & Gas and Energy sector, and the Group Chief Financial Officer at OVH Energy, the second largest downstream fuel business in Nigeria.He has served in various capacities within the Management Consulting, Oil & Gas and the Energy sector which include Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, Finance Controller at Shell Ivory Coast, Finance Manager at Pizo Shell Gabon, Finance Manager at Shell Senegal, Finance Manager at Shell Ethiopia, Group Head of Internal Audit at Vivo Energy Group Senegal, Managing Director, Vivo Energy Mali among many others. His leadership experience covers a number of local, regional and international deals and projects within the downstream and upstream sector.In his current role as Group Chief Financial Officer at OVH Energy, Mamadou has originated and executed a number of deals which include; the launch of the first financial session that guided the development of the company's 5-year financial plan across the Group's businesses, securing the working capital bank lines, and successfully reducing the cost of the entire operations of the company's Nigerian business. He currently serves as Director of OVH Energy Marketing Limited (OVHEM), OVH Energy Supply & Trading (OS&T), Apapa Single Point Mooring (ASPM), Trippmart Limited and Clean Cooking Fuels Investments Limited (CCFIL). He was also appointed Chairman of Ebony Oil & Gas (Ghana), OVH Energy Togo and OVH Energy Ghana.A multilingual senior executive, Mamadou has worked on a number of transactions covering oil and gas, financial services and impact investing. He has successfully completed strategic operational projects in the downstream and most of his works have been done in various markets across Africa and Europe. He is an alumnus of INSEAD, Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria South-Africa and NEOMA Business School France.
