As a Hyperoptic Fibre Network Infrastructure Planner Engineer, which include conducting site surveys, acquiring necessary permits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, I am also responsible for creating concise and accurate planning packs, utilizing all available resources to provide efficient and effective buildable network designs, and applying quality control measures. I ensure that best practice design solutions are used in line with company architecture and planning guidance and that existing third-party infrastructure is reviewed and maximized to the fullest potential. I also consider all aspects of health and safety throughout the design process, providing risk assessments to maintain the safety of all individuals building, maintaining, or working on the fibre network. Furthermore, I contribute to the knowledge sharing among my peers and maintain a supportive planning team. Additionally, I undertake the review, validation, costing and build requests, liaise with requestors, and confirm scopes and delivery timescales, allocate Fibres, schedule outage dates, and confirm requirements, and work with partner organizations to proceed with delivery. I have a keen eye for detail and ensure that inventory and order management systems are accurate and maintained.

As a remote worker my primary responsibility was to assist the fibre surveyors in creating their planning packs. My daily tasks included creating diagrams, interpreting building design plans, annotating images, and offering support in report writing. Occasionally, I also worked on the Bill of Materials and produced the Health & Safety checklist required for a specific site. In addition, I played a significant role in reviewing all available documents, analysing maps, and geographic locations prior to a planned site visit to ensure the planners had all the necessary information. Through my contributions, I helped to create more effective and efficient planning and ensure all relevant information was accounted for.

As the lead responsible for the seamless operation of a popular doughnut store, my role involved directing staff and schedules per targets in place. I encouraged all staff to utilize effective sales techniques to promote additional revenue and up-sell and cross-sell campaigns while ensuring all store promotion was in line with marketing and brand guidelines. It was my accountability to upskill all staff in this area and ensure maximum engagement and additional spend from customers. Additionally, I continuously evaluated stock levels to ensure they met real-time and anticipated demands. As the point of contact for all escalated complaints and refunds, I handled concerns raised with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism. My role also included managing adherence to health and safety guidelines and best practice outlined in internal policies and industry standards while continually reviewing the customer experience to improve operational activities that could drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
