I graduated with a PhD in robotics with focus on control, motion planning, and learning of robotics systems. My PhD research includes designing safety compliant algorithms for robotic system with both parametric and environment uncertainty.I also graduated with an MBA as Dual Degree Candidate at Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in product management, business analytics, and strategy and innovation. At Georgia Tech, I am a recipient of several awards including Fulbright Scholarship, GALT graduate, and A.J. Lynne Fellow. My graduate research experience requires working on complex robots in a challenging environment. As part of my PhD research, I have worked on whole-body control of a 19 Degree of Freedom (DoF) wheel inverted pendulum humanoid robot, real-time safety and control of a 7-DoF robotic manipulator, optimal distributed and consensus control of multi-agent system like differential drive and quadrotors, and adaptive cruise control with safety and regulation constraints. I verified my algorithms on both physical hardware and in simulation and the results were published in top robotics and control conferences. I have worked with Matlab, Simulink, Robotic Operating System (ROS), Gazebo robot simulation, Drake robotic toolbox, Dynamic Animation and Robotics Toolkit (DART) physics engine as well as open-source libraries like Eigen, OpenCV, Pytorch and scikit-learn. My work has been published in reputable robotics conferences including ICRA, IROS, CASE and ISER and journal like IEEE Robotics and Automation Letter , IEEE Control System Letter and IEEE Transaction on Robotics.In my previous capacity, I worked as an embedded software engineer for Mentor Graphics on CodeBench.
