My responsibilities as an administrative secretary includes organizing daily incoming correspondence, receiving and screening all incoming telephone calls, providing and receiving information or referring the matters to the appropriate person to handle, keeping calendar constantly updated, Establishing and maintaining various filing / records /database of business contacts.

This was a family business in which I had the responsibility to oversee and direct the day-to-day operations, managing the company’s finances, deciding and implementing company’s growth strategies, monitoring company performance, managing the company’s social media platforms and marketing campaigns, organizing and maintaining public relations and administrative/ government operations.

In this position I would interpret for customer service representatives and their clients online between English and Farsi which often included medical and professional settings.

In the garments sewing sector of this private supplier Company, I am in charge of managing and distributing new orders daily, as well as seeing through with the process of producing the orders until they are ready to be delivered to the customers. Customer service is also one of my duties as I update customers about the current status/location of their order when requested. My main duty is production control. Using both computer software and on paper, I keep track of the daily tasks and overall performance among other things.

I conducted a full research of the factory’s production plan for about a year, three months of which I spent studying the on-going process in the production unit. During this three month period I conducted time study experiments, and using the just-in-time production planning method I successfully determined the optimum process plan,in addition to type and layout of machinery for best employee performance and highest production rate. In addition, based on the research in progress, the segmentation and packaging unit’s floor scheme shifted to a U-shaped layout to increase work speed which resulted in a 37% decrease in lead time for the customers.

Assistant to the production manager for four consecutive summers. In charge of determining daily employee efficiency based on performance, and writing monthly and annual progress reports. Managed to co-develop, implement and upgrade an integrated employee performance evaluation system specific to this sewing factory’s factors, which proved to increase both production rate and efficiency by 84% and is currently the main daily procedure in the factory’s production department.

I was an intern to the production manager in a poultry processing factory for two months. I was responsible for end-of-day inventory balance check, initial weekly and monthly progress reports, and estimating next-day material needs. I Successfully introduced and performed a trial documentation system for the production, segmentation and packaging floor, which later proved to have optimized production rate as well as efficiency by 18%.
