Teaching one graduate course and three undergraduate courses to a total of 75 students. Courses are about human-centered design & design thinking, sustainable design and design history.Contributing to the development of the design curriculum at both undergraduate and graduate level at the university.

• Mapped the topics and design methods taught in each course within the Master's in Product Service System Design (PSSD) within one timeline to analyse connections and have an overview of the whole curriculum.• Mapped the current team-building activities held in different studios within PSSD and facilitated meetings/discussions on how the team-building activities could be enhanced in each course.• Planned and managed the PSSD tours (spring 2024 edition) to three different companies. The tour is designed for students to meet design practitioners working at different companies/agencies in Milan to understand what real-world design roles and projects can be like and how service design/interaction design can bring value within different industries and sectors.

• Involved in various service design and research projects at the lab, as part of a compulsory internship to graduate from the master’s at Politecnico di Milano.• Interviewed service design academics and professionals from different parts of the world including Europe, North America, Asia and Africa for the project ‘Service Design Identities’. The aim of the project is to evaluate the presence and evolution of service design pedagogy and professional practice around the globe.• Conducted case-study analysis for the project ‘UNSEE’ which aims to find real world examples of how systemic design and speculative design are impacting service design practice. The Dean's Fellowship is a prestigious award which is given to young academics to enable them to have teaching experience and mentorship to apply for terminal degrees. This fellowship is given to applicants who want to pursue a career in academia. I was the very first Dean's Fellow at Habib University, and was given the room to explore as a researcher and academic through the freedom to design various courses for students from different disciplines and also through mentorship from senior faculty & leadership at the university.

The Playground is the centre for transdisciplinarity, design and innovation at Habib University. As an Associate, I organised and conducted workshops, seminars and panel discussions onvarious topics within the realm of design. Highlighted work includes organizing and moderating a panel discussion on the evolving design education in Pakistan, giving lectures on topics such as practicing as a designer in Pakistan and design research, and also helping compile and design a report publication on a design research project on women and mobility (Her City & Her Stories).

I taught a 3 credit hour course called Service Design taught to 4th year undergraduate students of Communication Design at IVS with a co-instructor. I have also taught this course during the spring semester of 2019. The students work in groups with real clients and apply service design tools & methodologies such as stakeholder mapping, conducting interviews, service blueprinting, creating 'How Might We' statements, co-creative ideation, prototyping and testing to improve the service experience for their client’s customers and internal stakeholders of the business. Some of my students had socially responsible projects with clients such as Dar-ul-Sukun Old Age Home and the Ziauddin Speech Therapy Center. A portion of each class was dedicated to each group of students presenting the work they did for the client in the previous week to the rest of their class-mates, so that the students learn not only from their projects but from their peers as well.

At Radical I was leading design research for various projects and was also actively involved in their strategy and UX design. My responsibilities included making pitches and proposals, scoping & planning UX design projects and executing them. In this process, my team and I conducted the research including extensive secondary research and primary research using methods such as interviews, observations and contextual inquiry. The research was then translated into strategy including detailed business models, innovation roadmaps, feature sets, information architecture (IA), wireframes & prototypes etc. I was also responsible for conducting UX audits and doing usability testing.Highlighted projects include research & strategy for female inclusion within a personal finance manager called Hysab Kytab, IA and UX design for an overall equiment effectiveness (OEE) dashboard and UX design for an equipment supply need dashboard for hospitals during Covid-19.

My work here involved conducting a UX heuristic audit of the current Bykea application, conducting research with users, drivers and other stakeholders about their pain-points and suggestions for current and new features, making low fidelity and high fidelity wireframes of new concepts for the product, creating UI designs and interactive prototypes, conducting user testing through those prototypes and improving UX based on the feedback from existing and potential users of the app.I primarily worked on the research & design for Bykea Cash. Other aspects that I covered included the Ride Booking and Mart features, and the homescreens for the consumer app and the driver app.

My key responsibilities here included planning & executing Service Design, Product/Packaging Design and Systemic Design projects. I taught this course during the spring semester of 2019. Three groups from the class worked with various restaurants while one worked with a pet clinic, another with a print/stationery shop and one with a printing press. Each class is dedicated to each group of students presenting the work they did for the client in the previous week to the rest of their class-mates, so that the students learn not only from their projects but from their peers as well.

Worked as a freelance product and graphic designer with Herbot for two and a half months. It is a startup based in the US, and I was remotely designing indoor hydroponic units for them with a colleague. We were responsible for conducting competitor analysis and researching case-studies, making sketches, getting approval from the Herbot team, 3-D modelling the final designs, and making technical drawings of them. I also worked on the labels of their products as well as ideas and graphics for their Kickstarter campaign and their social media.

Responsibilities included illustration for different social media posts and visual content for web, designing social media strategies and web & print design for various clients including brochures, menus etc.

Responsibilities included coming up with content ideas, planning and designing social media posts for the clients I had been assigned by AlooClan. I primarily worked for the social media for a healthcare brand in this position.

Brainstorming & refining ideas for robots that assist Alzheimer's patients in doing exercise and being active mentally and physically. In this project, along with my multidisciplinary team of fellow internees, I conducted literature search about Alzhiemer's patients and the plight of their care-givers. Various case-studies of previous design interventions done for facilitating such patients and their caregivers were found. Based on this research personas and usage scenarios were developed. Brainstorming sessions with other fellow internees led to various robot design concepts which not only facilitate & engage the patient but also keep the caregiver informed about the patient's progress through a companion mobile app. I worked on the wireframes and UX of the app and made some prototypes. I was also involved in the logo design and social media strategy for the company.
