About Manal Sidi

As a dedicated advocate for refugee health and community engagement, I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to positively impact the lives of displaced individuals and families.Currently, I serve as a Program Manager for Policy & Practice at Welcome.US, where I work on initiatives to welcome and support newcomers through the engagement of universities and colleges, employers, and other stakeholders. I coordinate the Welcome Campus Network (WCN), a space to amplify the work of universities and colleges in supporting newcomers, and represents Welcome.US in the Supporting Higher Education in Refugee Resettlement (SHERR) program, which builds infrastructure for universities and colleges and resettlement agencies to systematically participate in refugee resettlement. I hold an MPH from Emory University and have personal experience resettling from Somalia.
