Serve as Evaluation Technical Assistance Provider to over 200 Kellogg Foundation grantees in Mississippi and Louisiana. Providing one-on-one evaluation technical assistance, development of evaluation e-modules and workshops focused on capacity building, and producing quarterly evaluation outcome reports.Serve as an evaluation data analyst for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Leaders program to assess their program recruitment and candidate selection process. Managing candidate data using Excel and Google Sheets, providing evaluation technical assistance on evaluation measures, and managing client calls by preparing agendas and following up with action items. Serve as task lead for the evaluation of the Barr Fellowship Program. Preparing a social network analysis data plan using UCINET, conducting interviews with program fellows, producing qualitative interview findings using Atlas.ti, and facilitating planning meetings between program participants and program staff. Supervising five junior staff members; supporting proposal work by coordinating appendices materials; designed and presented the lessons learned from Social Network Analysis presentation at company-wide staff meeting. Serve as point person with three foundation clients and over 200 community-based organizations; and attended three trainings and presentations focused on disaggregating demographic data for more racially and culturally inclusive datasets.

Supported the implementation lead on the Women’s Health Needs Study, which captures the reproductive health needs of refugee women across four metropolitan cities in the United States. Tasks included developing culturally sensitive data collection materials, training interviewers, and leading weekly meetings with CBO. Manage and lead the dissemination of quarterly progress reports. Conduct user-testing on hospital comparison sites for Medicare users, including testing different scenarios and documenting errors. Lead KIIs to understand survey participation among Asian American and Pacific Islander populations. Tasks included developing an interview guide, conducted the qualitative analysis, and compiling the final report. Provide project management support including developing project work plans, agendas and meeting notes, presentations, and facilitating communication between clients.

Coordinated a study at the DeKalb County Board of Health’s Refugee Clinic to investigate the usability and acceptability of a non-invasive, image-based smartphone app for diagnosing anemia in refugee populations. Responsibilities include developing interview questionnaires and surveys, interviewing research study participants, and managing study materials and incentives. Published peer-reviewed article July 2021.

Coordinated a qualitative community assessment which included developing an in-depth interview guide, conducting one-on-one interviews with Clarkston stakeholders, completing a thematic analysis using MAXQDA, and producing a final report. The report was entitled Refugee and Immigrant Health and Wellness Community Assessment and was presented at the Clarkston Summit on November 2018 and at the North American Refugee Health Conference in June 2019.

Led data management of quantitative survey data (using Epi Info) examining newly recently resettled children’s’ and parents’ knowledge about healthy eating and nutrition. Also, worked with Oakhurst Medical, a local clinic, to develop a culturally tailored National Diabetes Prevention Program curriculum and materials targeting local pre-diabetic refugee and immigrant residents in Stone Mountain and Clarkston, Georgia.

Worked as part of the Data Entry team for the Atlanta cohort of Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes project. Also, assisted the Data Manager with tracking and recruiting research participants.

Managed building operations, oversaw reservations and building events, provided support and service to building patrons, solved problems maintain building security, assisted with building emergencies and supervised other student workers within Wilson Commons.

Conducted qualitative participatory research to evaluate different methods of delivering workshops topics, such as healthy eating, self-esteem, and menstrual hygiene, within the South African context. Presented final paper, Towards a Sustainable Hygiene and Education System for Women’s Health in South Africa: An Examination and Implementation of the Most Effective Way to Teach Sexual Health Issues to Girls

Conducted qualitative interviews with NYC community health workers (CHWs) across different health programs and provided technical support to develop a toolkit to help CHWs unite and advance their workforce. Also, completed a literature review, final report, and presentation entitled, The Integration of Community Health Workers into Diabetes Management Care.The internship was a part of the Columbia University Summer Public Health Scholars Program, which is a program aimed at increasing interest in and knowledge of public health and biomedical science careers.
