In 2001, after Inc. Magazine decided discontinue its executive coaching/peer group service for CEOs, I continued providing this service to executives under my consulting practice, LeadersLearn. During this period I also obtained a Master’s in Counseling from Seton Hall University. Worked with senior level/SES Federal Government employees as an executive coach as a subcontractor to Booz Allen Hamilton.Provide employment counseling services to coach and assist clients in identifying workforce skills and skill gaps and identify appropriate training and development programs and volunteer opportunities to ensure the closure of skill gaps. Establishing metrics to assess effectiveness of training and counseling programs through monitoring and evaluation of implemented strategies.Assisting clients in identifying and reaching critical business and life goals.Facilitate peer group strategic planning sessions for senior executives and owners of small to medium sized businesses to assist participants with developing strategic business plans and metrics for success.Coach clients, both in one-on-one and group settings, to build on and enhance their innate resiliency and to set monitor, and achieve goals. Co-founded and managed, M&R Associates, an independent economic and management consulting practice focusing on economic research and analysis for US Government agencies, including the Small Business Administration, The Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, the Appalachian Regional Commission.Developed rapport with government clients and participated in: new business development; proposal writing; research design development; research team management; final report writing; and customer service and satisfaction. Had high client retention and helped clients attain critical business goals.Worked closely with clients from Federal agencies, regional/state agencies and the private sector.Project efforts ranged from estimating the level of small business investments made by public pension funds to providing litigation support on contract escalation clauses, including deposition and preparation of trial materials.
